Welcome to the home of the Youngstown District Soccer Coach's Association. The coaches in this association are here to serve the Youngstown area High School soccer athletes and programs. The association provides district awards and recognition at the local, state, and sometimes national levels.

Each year, these student athletes and coaches are recognized at award banquets sponsored by the YDSSCA.

Important Upcoming events:

 

Below are important dates and notes for the upcoming year of soccer for our Youngstown District Coaches. Please share these with your boys and girls coaches and assistant coaches as well.

  • Coaches Meeting: March 19th  @ Sons of Italy: 28 E Park Ave, Niles, OH 44446

  • Coaches Meeting & Dues Deadline : August July 30th @ Sons of Italy

  • Seeding Submissions Online: Coaches Complete Seeding Submissions by October 7th

  • Voting Meeting & Coaches Meeting: October 14th , Mineral Ridge High School

  • Tournament Begins: October 15th

  • State Meeting: October 21st in Columbus - For Coaches whose player earns Player of the Year  

  • Senior Showcase: November 4th, Hubbard High School Stadium: Boys 12pm & Girls 2pm

  • Banquets: November 14th: Boys & November 15th: Girls @ Mt. Caramel, Youngstown 6:15pm

 

Special Notes:

- Membership Dues are collected at the July meeting.  Coaches are expected to turn in their dues form and payment at the meeting or mail to the treasurer prior to the meeting. Failure to do so can result in a fine or no membership.

- Coaches are expected to bring all completed Voting Meeting Paperwork to the voting meeting typed, according to the directions given by the board  and in the correct quantities which are communicated prior to the meeting date. If a coach can not attend this meeting AND an assistant coach is unable to represent players (has not paid local dues) the Athletic Director from that school MUST be in attendance at the meeting for student-athletes  to receive honors and/or awards.

-  Yearly Membership Dues, Voting,  Banquet  and Senior Showcase Forms  are shared on our website as well as via email with our member coaches.
